1.) Know the one you are serving:

      You need to know whom you are serving. Knowing whom you are following wi give direction to you. Psalm 23:1 said "The lord is my shepherd, l shall not be in want" (NIV).This mean we need to know the lord as our shepherd who leads the sheep. You need to know the God you are serving and lf you are not serving who are you serving. God is to be glorify in whatever you are doing. This word said "whoever serves me must follow me and where l am my servant also will be. My father will honour the one who serves me" So we need to serve God in order to be honoured by God.                

 2.) Yielding to teaching:                                                    There is a saying that says "if you can write your name, thank your teacher" this is also applicable to spiritually, when you have a greater intimacy with God, thank your listening ears because it is your listening ears that enables you to yield to teaching . Let check what the scripture which says "always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth" 2Timothy 3:7. Though you are listening to teaching yet you do not tend to the teaching due to harden heart, lack of concentration and many more.

3.) Earnestly seek God:

       The scripture says " 

So as a person you need to seek God in order to be  thirsty for Him.The scripture also says "Ask and it will be given to you,seek and you will find,knock and the door shall be opened to you". Luke 11:9. You need to ask,knock and seek in order to earnestly seek him you need to eagerly seek God for greater gift after being saved. Seek God with all your heart.so you can gain a greater grace.              4 .) Follow me:

          There is a baptist book that is title serve the master, follow the master and others. In the follow the master, it talk about the cost and things needed to follow Christ. Psalm 55 vs 8 says "But l am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God;I trust in God unfailing love forever and ever".This kindly mean we need to trust God and  know that is able to do all things for you.When you decide to follow Christ you will be awarded everything we need as his children.What God says should be what we will do and also we should accept him as our master and a shepherd that direct us.
